Sample preparation is another most important step of sampling in fields and/ or laboratories. In preparation process, pollution of samples may be occurred. Therefore, samples should be regularly prepared under certain condition to prevent from any changes in results of analysis. In this step, the bulk sample is properly prepared for use in different analytical processes. Actually, this process includes separation and removing the unusable particles & solution of analyst. Finally, prepared samples are analyzed using different methods.
Different methods of sample preparation can be classified in 3 different categories, in this database, as follows:
1- Different methods of sample preparation:
The purpose of this section is to introduce different methods of preparation of laboratory samples. It defines that each special sample should be prepared before analysis. In addition, in this section, safety issues, instruments, materials & tools used for sample preparation in different methods are introduced.

2- Sample preparation for applied instruments
Different sample is required for analytical instruments to be analyzed. Instruments which are used in each laboratory can be classified into analytical & measurement instruments. The purpose of this section is to introduce different methods of sample preparation for main & applied laboratory instruments.
For better introduction, it's linked to different related section of each method and all users can easily access to information about method of sample preparation related to instrument of interest, preparation of instrument and related laboratories.

3- Standard preparation methods
The purpose of this section is to introduce standard preparation methods of different elements and compounds. Note that, in this section, these standard preparation methods were introduced in form of a periodic table.
